🌿 From Dream to Animal Sanctuary: A Birthday Wish with Heart

This year, as my birthday approaches, I’m doing something I’ve never done before — I’m asking for something. Not for gifts or celebrations, but for a little help in bringing a long-held dream to life: the creation of an animal sanctuary.

Because animals deserve safety, dignity, and freedom. Because the world needs more spaces where kindness is the law of the land.

Some of you know me through Weterra, others may know about my years of dedication to animal rights — founding 269life The Netherlands, fasting for a week in front of Europe’s largest pig slaughterhouse to raise awareness, cycling through multiple countries to spread the message, and risking everything during undercover investigations to expose the hidden truths.

This sanctuary is the next chapter — the one where we create a physical safe space. Where rescued animals can live in peace, and where people can come to connect with them, and be inspired to see them not as products, but as individuals.
