My name is Remko Ehrhardt, and I was the founder of 269Life Netherlands, a movement dedicated to exposing and ending the exploitation of animals in all forms. While 269Life Netherlands is no longer active, the fight for animal liberation remains a core part of who I am.

From 2013 onwards, I led direct actions, demonstrations, and awareness campaigns to challenge societal norms surrounding animal use. Our team's activism included powerful street demonstrations, night investigations into factory farms, liberations of animals from exploitation, and hunt sabotage efforts to disrupt the killing of wildlife. Through these efforts, we brought international attention back to the Netherlands' animal rights movement.

One significant initiative was the worldwide event "Respect Life," to unite activists globally in advocating for animal rights. This event showcased the collective strength and determination of those committed to ending animal suffering.

In addition to my work with 269Life, I undertook a personal endeavor—a 6,000-kilometer cycling journey across Europe—to protest against animal cruelty and promote veganism. This journey was a testament to my personal commitment to the cause and aimed to inspire others to consider compassionate lifestyle choices.

Another impactful action was "Vasten voor Varkens" (Fasting for Pigs), where I fasted for 120 hours in front of the largest slaughterhouse in the Netherlands, Vion in Boxtel. This protest aimed to draw attention to the suffering of pigs during their lives, transport, and slaughter. The action received coverage in several newspapers, highlighting the plight of these animals.

Though my activism has evolved, my mission has not changed. My wife and I are now working toward establishing a farm animal sanctuary in the EU. Our goal is to create a safe haven for rescued animals, offering them the care and freedom they deserve, while continuing to educate people about compassion and ethical living.

To fund this dream, I have shifted my focus toward day trading, this webshop and a  YouTube channel dedicated to trading. These ventures are not just financial pursuits; they are the means to achieve our ultimate goal of providing a sanctuary for animals in need. My passion for activism remains as strong as ever—I have simply adapted my approach to ensure that I can make a lasting impact.

In addition to my other efforts, I have also done extensive design work for various animal rights organizations and continue to do so. I hope my creative work helped amplify the message of these groups, spreading awareness and inspiring action.
